The Gamehole is a long standing group of Madison area gamers. We have been getting together for years playing our favorite games. We love virtually all tabletop games. We have played every edition of D&D, including Pathfinder, we play Traveller and Call of Cthulhu. We meet every month to play test new board and card game ideas, and occasionally other types of games. We discuss game design, work out mechanics, and so on. Likewise, even if you're not working on a game, but like to play cool games then come play with us.
This is a group for people interested in traditional role-playing games, such as Original D&D, 1st Edition AD&D, Classic Traveller, and many others! It also includes games like BFRPG, Labyrinth Lord, Swords & Wizardry. If you played any of these games in the past, or are COMPLETELY NEW to them, we're happy to have you come and play.
This group plays the Borigon system, a home-brewed role playing game that can be adapted to any genre and environment. At present there are three games each week in different settings and locations. All levels of experience in role-playing are accepted. We encourage new players and veterans alike.
